We are a community group in inner-city Bristol who formed a not-for-profit company to take control of the re-development of a brown-field site in our neighbourhood.

We believe that building developments should be community-based, environmentally-sensitive initiatives, rather than profit-driven commercial enterprises. In May 2001, we succeeded in buying the development site in order to create innovative and sustainable self-build housing and office, workshop and community space.
